computer reboots when printing attatchment from outlook express xp home
xp home desktop, when customer clicks on an attatchment in outlook express the computer just reboots, when you click on a text message it prints

Worse case scenario....
Can you upload the .dmp files from c:\windows\minidump to http://www.ee-stuff.com? We might be able to isolate the faulting module....
I dont believe it is a hidden folder.....
But you can always verify if it is even set to minidump...
Contro Panel>System>Advanced>Star tup and Recovery, and make sure it is checked to do a small minidump, and note the directory...

this is at a customers office and it may be friday or saturday before I can work on it again

Totally remove the driver, once you deleted the printer. Then go to Printers and faxes>File>Server Properties>Drivers, and delete whats there. Then reinstall from scratch with fresh drivers.....
Once the printer is deleted, go to start<>run>cmd
net stop spooler
net start spooler
That should free up the drivers to delete them.....
Also, download the following and try and use cleanspl.exe to make sure the spooler is indeed clean....
