Hi,

I have a pretty new laptop. When it is hibernating, I can unplug the power supply, but then the system freezes (win xp). I have to kill the powe supply most violently. Is there any reason for this, I used to be able to do that without a problem, it just started recently.

Thanks

Try uninstalling your Video Card from the device manager, reboot, and reinstall with the latest drivers....
