Pages attached to a DWT not updating

Hi,

First off, apologies for posting this in the Front Page forum, I couldn't find one dedicated to Expression Web (too new I guess).

I have a new website for which I am creating a menu in the DWT.

The problem: after creating the menu <div> in the DWT and then saving it, the changes are not reflected in the documents attached to the DWT.  This despite EW asking me if the attached pages should also be updated.

The xhtml:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html dir="ltr" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<!-- #BeginEditable "doctitle" -->
<title>Untitled 1</title>
<!-- #EndEditable -->
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="TT.css" />
</head>
<body>
<!-- #BeginEditable "body" -->
<div id="menu">
      <a href="index.htm">Home.</a>
      <a href="kilimanjaro.htm">Kilimanjaro</a>
      <a href="safari.htm">Safari</a>
      <a href="preparation.htm">Preparation</a>
      <a href="contact.htm">Contact</a>
      <a href="about_us.htm">About Us</a>
      <a href="disclaimer.htm">Disclaimer</a>
</div>
<!-- #EndEditable -->
</body>
</html>

Many thanks for any tips.
Jens

Tried that already... I closed all the pages except the DWT, then Format --> Dynamic Web Template --> Update All Pages...

A dialog box appears stating: (7 of 7) files updated.  The log shows all pages that were updated, confirming the update.  But when I then open any of the 7 pages, they only show this:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html dir="ltr" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<!-- #BeginTemplate "TT.dwt" -->
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<!-- #BeginEditable "doctitle" -->
<title>Safari</title>
<!-- #EndEditable -->
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="TT.css" />
</head>
<body>
<!-- #BeginEditable "body" -->
<div id="menu">
      <a href="index.htm">Home</a>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<!-- #EndEditable -->
</body>
<!-- #EndTemplate -->
</html>

As you can see, the rest of the menu <div> is missing.

Thanks-
