We have a CanonC5180 Color Printer with RIP.   I have a TCP/IP printer setup that is shared, If I restart the RIP and when the Command Workstation 4 restarts it deletes my TCP/IP printer everytime and I have to add it back.   I can not figure out how, when or why this is doing this, any ideas on how to debug?  I check the Canon site and nothing there!

are you sure it isnt just stopping the Print Spooler service? If the servivce is stopped, it will look like printers are deleted....

Figured it out this morning... Need to set up the Printer as a "Virtual Printer" through the RIP software and then it keeps it!
