I'd like to know about the Network+ prometric exam.  I'm taking it in January and would like some info.  How many questions?  Did it have a focus on any particular topics ? etc.  I know this isn't technical but I know if I'm going to get answers there no better place that EE.  I'm a new member and absolutly love this group Its great being a part of something with the best minds in the business and hope to one day achieve ranking and climb through the levels as you all have done.
Thank you all and have a great and safe Holiday season.

Hey Shihansean, it has been a couple of years since i took my net+, but ill tell you what i know.  Study OSI model very much.  It is the foundation of the test.  Also, study all tcp/ip and related protocols, basic hardware differences such as switches hubs routers etc.  Different physical media like cat5 versus fiber.  Security plays a minor part-worms viruses etc.  Also, minor ip addressing and i thinks some small subnetting issues.  But mainly that OSI model. I think it is 73 or so questions now and it costs 199-230 bucks.
HTH and good luck
