Hi

I have a .jpeg image file embedded in my Visual Studio project.
I use it behind a windows for as the Background image and then on a tabcontrol
as the background image for each page.
It seems to load incredibly slwly as I click through each page.
How might I speed this up?

Perhaps set the background for the tabpages (and perhaps controls as well) to transparent, with the image only as the background for the form.  If that doesn't work and you're doing some work every time the tab page changes, try using SupendLayout/ResumeLayout so it's not trying to redraw until all the work is done.

Hi

You can only make each tabpage of the tabcontrol transparent. This just seems to turn it white and does not pick up the image on the form
