ADSM conig

Hi Experts,

We have a Cisco ASA 5520 8.0 ADSM 6.0.
When i make a change using the ADSM GUI it does not save to the ASA .
When i check the CLI it shows the orginal configuration..
When i make a change on the CLI it does show on the ADSM.
Has any one see this before

Are you clicking the "Apply" button after you make the changes in the ASDM?  What username are you using when accessing the ASDM and does it have privilege 15 on it?

I log in with the administrator password yes i apply it, where is the privlefge found on the ADSM

Configuration - Device Management - Users/AAA - User Accounts

You'll see a column called "Privilege Level (Role)"...you need 15 for administrator access.

just created my own account and it worked perfectly.

do you know of any cisco documntation specifically for ADSM 8.0 i only find older documntation.

Actually, the ASDM version is 6.0 (the ASA code is 8.0)...here's a link to the ASDM 6.0 user guide...
