I am wondering if anyone out there knows how to code in expiration date into a Flash file? I would like the swf to stop working after a few weeks if I don't remove or change the expiration code after a month or two.

there is a custom actionscript class someone made for this..so you would put code like this on frame 1 of your movie..

import com.gousable.SWF_Protector ;
var time_block:Object = {};
      time_block._use = true;
      time_block.msGetExpired = ( new Date(2007,11,7).getTime() ) ;
                if(isViolated){
        time_block.alert = "\nSorry, time limit for this site has expired.\n ";
};

...........................
new Date(2008,2,7) // year, month, day
the date set here for expiry is the 7th of March 2008
2 is the month for March..as the month array is zero based
after that date a message pops up
