Backup Exec 9.0 for Netware HELP PLEASE!!

Our Netware 6.0SP5 server finally had to be wiped. Now I cannot get Backup Exec 9.0 to catalog our tapes to restore some CRITICAL files. I did an inventroy on all 5 tapes but none will catalog. The alert states "The media in HA:3 ID:6 LUN:0 SEAGATE DAT     9SP40-000 is blank or it may contain a backup which this drive cannot recognize. Replace the media in HA:3 ID:6 LN:0 SEAGATE DAT     9SP40-000."

Please help.

just cleaned the drive again this morning and now it gives an error 24617 "a fatal error was encounter with the on-media catalog"

as for patch level...same build as before...no newer 9.0 build on symantec's site.

tape driver ... i have no idea the CNE that built the server only left on disk for the SCSI stuff and AFIK the Seagate DAT uses the standard TSA600.NLM to operate.

well the cataloging worked for all but one tape that gave the 24617 error. I guess this question should be closed out. I don't know why cleaning the drive a second time fixed it unless it was THAT dirty :)
