How to get another application out of system tray

If another application is minimized to the system tray, and you know the handle of the application, is there anyway to get it out of the system tray (in other words, the same thing you would get when double clicking on the icon, so that the application is visible again).

Some possibilities:
Either by sending some message to app (like what happens when you click on the icon).
Or.. to get the position of the icon in the system tray so you may simulate a mouse double click.
