I have a simple question -- all I want to do is copy a CD in Vista Ultimate 32-bit version. It's an Office 2007 CD that I want a copy of for backup. Help!

Well, the crummy method of doing it would be to copy all the files to a directory on your hard disk, and then burning that onto another CD.

However, the preferred method of doing this would be to use a CD burning application such as Nero or Roxio.  Both have CD duplication utilities.

Hard to believe that this feature isn't included with the OS, but.....thanks for the info. Now I know I have no recourse except to buy another package.

Ya, M$ isn't big on providing tools to copy software.  Another interesting thing about Windows is that it is the only modern OS on planet Earth practically that does not support the mounting of .ISO files natively.  All flavors of UNIX, and the Macintosh can do it with no special tools whatsoever.
