Checkbox list labels align

I have a check box list control. The list is filled by the data base
Problem is the boxes appear very haphazardly. They are not aligned well.
Any suggestions

My guess is that you are repeating the checkboxes horizontally. So if the labels are not the same length, you will see the checkboxes scattered across several rows and not in a columnar fashion.
If you standardize the length of your label, you will probably see a cleaner result.
Or perhaps you can use several checkbox lists that are evenly spaced across the page using a vertical repeat.
