Default shared printer setting to black and white

I have a client running SBS2003 and they have a KonicaMinolta Bizhub C300 multi-function copier.  This is a shared printer from the server to the XP workstations in the office.  I have set the default setting to black and white on the server settings, but when I load the printer to a workstation it defaults to color.  How do I push out the printer preferences from the server to the workstations and have them hold on the workstation.  By default, my client wants everyone to print in black and white unless they need color.

The copier will come with drivers that enable colour and/or monochrome only.
You setup the monochrome driver as the default.
You then setup the colour driver as another choice when they go to print.
So, in the Print Manager:
KonicaM Default B&W
KonicaM Colour

I tried this a couple of times and the settings don't hold for the users.  I'll come back to this at a later time.
