I have an old 2003 exchange server<br />
I have a new 2003 exchange server.<br />
I want to migrate all my email boxes to the new server.<br />
All my dns settings for smtp etc are set to public ip address #1<br />
What is the best way to migrate between the two with the least ammount of downtime?<br />

Ive tested by successfully moving mail boxes back and forth between the two servers. <br />
However, when user #1's mailbox is moved from old server to New server and email is sent to user #1, the email is not delivered to their email box on Old server.<br />
Should that user be getting their email or not. Does exchange forward email like this?<br />
What is best practice for this migration procedure?
