Hi
Is this a SQL database or an access database. For SQL you have internal SQL backup which can backup your data to a desired location. You can run the backup and
then if you want to delete the database you can but you need to ensure that SQL is working fine

Hi,

Enable circular logging on the Exchange database which will play the logs and purge them and next time onwards these will not be created. Or else run a full backup of exchange and that will purge the logs. These as the transaction logs i mean the mails which have been coming in and which have not been stored into the database. Please do it fast otherwise your exchange server will crash and you will loose all important data.

If you dont want these logs generated please enable circular logging which will commit the incoming mails regularly into the database which would be a bit more
memory intensive but not other go.

Hi,

Run NTbackup and select the exchange information store and run a full backup.
Try to run the backup another drive or attach a new harddisk and run the backup
to purge the logs.
