I have an IBM Thinkpad x40, this comes with a great driver installer.  I run the program and it gives me an interface in which i chose which drivers to install, then it automatically installs those drivers. Also, this is done without going to the internet, meaning all the required driver files are also in the install folder.  I just upgraded to a Lenova/IBM Thinkpad X61, I am desparately looking for such a program on the IBM site, but cannot find it, does anyone have any ideas

Yes and no, this update only works if you do not delete the recovery partition on your hard disk, i reformated my hard disk and re installed xp pro (i did not want to waste space with the recovery partion on my disk)

i am looking for an installer that will come with drivers and all necessary files withing hte package, otherwise it is very time comsuming to reinstall all drivers and there are some nice utility software that is quite nice which is hard to identify
