The error is Object Reference is not set to an instance of an object. How do I locate the missing reference? Any suggestions.

You can edit the form and the controls and their property from the .designer.cs file using a text editor, like note pad...

Thanks for your response. There seemed to be a problem with the project as the object message seemed to occur when creating subsequent forms. I created a new project and transferred the controls to it and all are happy again.

Thanks!
