Shape Tween that will transform a rectangle into an irregular polygon

This is a two parter. Please download this file:  http://www.designamania.com/websites/colorCoder2.fla
1) How do I make the transformation from frame 4 to frame 11 as a tween?
2) Is there a way to globally change the colors making up the gradient?  i.e., change #000000 to #00CC99, etc.Best of all would be if you could limit those changes to a single specified layer (in this case, curtain).

Thanks!

right-click frame 5 and select clear keyframe
do the same for 6,7,8,9,10
select frame 4 and in the properties panel where it says tween..select shape.

changing the colours of a gradient is do-able but fairly complicated you need to start out by building the gradient with actionscript so you can change it similarly.

Hi Z,
That's bizarre because exactly what I tried first, but it didn't make a smooth transition with the upper left corner in 4 "collapsing" to the inside corner in frame 11 as I expected. It spun the shape around and then ended up suddenly in frame 11.  I must have had something else on the same layer that I wasn't aware of. Thanks for directing me to try it again.

I'll check the link out in the morning (California time)..

Thanks,
John
