Hello All,

I am kind of doing research on developing a travel-website which will also have a module to book air-line tickets. Nowadays there are many websites which offers Airline Ticket Booking options. What I am looking for is to provide ticket booking service to domestic (india) as well as interntaional. In india now there are many low cost cariers also. My question is to provide a common search engine as well as ticket booking service do I need to individually go to each airlines and get their schedule API as well as booking API ? I know there are API providers like AMADEUS which can be used for booking all the major domestic / international airlines. But they does not service the Low Cost Services. So it will require a seperate system to handle the Low cost sector.

Can anyone guide me how to go about this.

Regards

Hello...

I recommend you to use this specification. It is used by most of the travel IT companies. Anyone who develops systems...can use this open source API. :) But of course you have to access different GDS's to get through low-cost booking systems.
