I have a flex grid that contains a bunch of data per each employee.

I'd like to be able to hover over one of these cells that contains information and pop up a simple window with more information regarding the employee.

How would I be able to do this?

You can use the tooltip to show additional information.

If you have a different field on any place (maybe a name or ID on the left) you can do.

Private Sub MSFlexGrid1_MouseMove(...)
Dim oldtxt As String
Dim newtxt As String

newtxt = MSFlexGrid1.TextMatrix(MSFlexGrid1.MouseRow,1)

If newtxt <> oldtxt Then
  MSFlexGrid1.ToolTipText = "Text to display: "  & newtxt
  oldtxt = newtxt
Else
  MSFlexGrid1.ToolTipText  = ""
End If

End Sub
