I am familiar with how to actually limit who can e-mail a distribution list, but instead of the unauthorized user getting a bounce back from the system, is there a way thier e-mail could just be redirected to an administrator?

Hi,

I don't think this can be accomplished. The only thing I can think of is to try setting the DL group owner to the Admin via ADU&C > Properties of DL > Security > Advanced > Owner and then setting the Send Delivery Reports to Group Owner option via ADU&C Properties of DL > Exchange Advanced.
