page that appears when there is no index

hi there,
i guess this is a pretty simple question.
when a folder has no index page then the layout of the folder appears, subfolders and files.
When i click view source there is a certain html page that was created probably with php.
Does anyone know where i can find that php script in order to customize it a bit??
