ftp login site not workig in Firefox or on mac

Hello.  I created a login page to validate a user's username and password for an ftp site.  The site works great in IE but does not work in Firefox or on a mac.  Any suggestions?  I even tried downloading the fireftp extenstion for Firefox but could not get the firefox browser to work on a pc.

Add id attribute to your form tag:

Is there a way to skip over the screen that lists the items and show the actual drop site where a user can add and remove files?

You are asking for something different. Anyways I guess with just javascript you cannot achieve. You try this applet I found in this url:
