Dear all,

I'm looking a manual/instructions on how to use installshield to create an automated silent install.  I used to have a few documentation on this with version 6.5 but i couldn't find it anywhere.  I basically want to install note client with a few settings pre configured.  Please help.

Thanks

It should all be in the readme.nsf file that installs on the client

ALso, you can check the IBM site for the same info.

I hope this helps !

The IBM regular installer also has a silent install mode, so you may want to look at that instead.

The answer I provides is accurate. ALl the install options are mentioned in the readme.nsf on the client install CD, adn in the readme.nsf on the server.

Also the info is easily available on the IBM site.

PAQ, do not delete.

The reason why I want to delete this question is obviously because I did not get the help I needed.  Pointing me to IBM website isn't the help I need.  The kind of help I was after would be something like please go http://www.blah.com for this documentation, go here for the installer, etc etc.  I've tried everything you've mentioned here before I posted this question, hence I got nowhere with it.  That readme.nsf gives me nothing I wanted.

The right answer for this question would be -

1. Get installShield Tuner for Notes
2. Go through the automated set up
3. Build the *.mst file

This is the kind of answer I was after.  If you reckon IBM has all the info on this, then please direct me to the "exact" link.
