I seem unable to defrag a volume that has MS Exchange 2003 server loaded on it. Even if I stop the Exchange services. The drive has 44% free and seems to stop on the priv.edb exchange database file.

Is there a way to defrag the hard drive completely that has Exchange loaded on it?

You can try using a third pary app but its highly suggested you dont defrag a partition with exchange loaded. It will corrupt your databases.
