Not able to hear output from PC

Hi, Again a bluetooth issue from me, may be its too basic,
I have a headset motorola HS820, that I was using with my mobile which is working fine.

I recently connected it with my bluesoleil (PC adaptor).
The headset was paired and connected, but I am not able to hear anything through my headset. It worked once after I did some short press or long press (some trial and error) which I dont remember now.

Can you help me if I am missing any step ?
Question is: How can I hear through my headset after pairing and connecting with my PC.
More info: When I look at the bluetooth software , there is some dot going between PC and my headset, (I can see that).

Vista or XP? Doublecheck the sound settings and make sure it switched over in your Sounds to the headset you want to hear out of. Although you can't hear out of the headset can you still hear out of speakers?

ASKER

Mine is XP. the sound settings(in control panel) was set to bluetooth from the dropdown.
I cannot hear anything from my speakers after I changed the settings to bluetooth. when I changed back the settings to Sound MAX, I am able to hear through speakers.
One more thing, I can hear some beep beep sound from my headset. After 5-6 beeps that stops. After that no sound.
I can see some data packet exchange between the two devices (in the bluesoleil software window)
