imap smtp problems

dear experts,

traying to send email out of my intranet using exchange 2007 by IMAP im geting this :

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

      Subject:      sdsds
      Sent:      11/20/2007 6:02 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

      'user@mailserver.com' on 11/20/2007 6:02 PM
            550 5.7.1 Recipient not authorized, your IP has been found on a block list

Any idea to trace the problem its wellcome

The message means what it says - the server has blocked the IP address. What you need to verify is which server is blocking - is it your own or is it another one.

Have you configured your server to use IP address blacklisting?
Have you verified that your server is not on any blacklists?

Simon, i think i was not clear, let me explain it again:

I try to connect by imap to my own server , in order to send an email to other user in the same server , ports 143,443,993 are open and this is the configuration :

box0 : edge server open port 25
box1 : mbx.cas,hub server ports 143,443,993
i try to conect by imap pointing to box1
i guess the problem its when i try to send an email by imap out of the intranet , becouse i pointing to box1 the port 25 is clouse.i should use box0 in order to connect to smtp server, its that correct ?

Your question was perfectly clear.
Whatever server you are sending the email to is blocking the message. This isn't because the port is not open - if the port wasn't open you would get a different message. The port is open, the message is sent, but the server rejects the messages.

Therefore my question above still stands - are you using any kind of IP address blocking? If you are then you will either have to stop using that or relay email through another server that is not using IP address lists. There is nothing different to your message being sent by a client to a message being sent by another server. If you are blocking dynamic IP addresses for example, then this blocks all SMTP traffic.

you right , can i create an expetion in order to live this dynamic ip bloked , but allowing autenticated users ?

Not that I am aware of. I don't use blacklists anyway, I don't like the idea of someone else deciding what email I can receive.

you can remove RBL provider, since i have the same issue and now its ok.
