Exchange 2003: Recieving NDRs between domains with internal Mail

I have an Exchange 2003 server, it currently services 2 seperate domains and has no virtual servers.  When users on Domain A send email to multiple users on Domain B, we will recieve at least 1 NDR indicating that the "recipents destination email system is unknown or invalid"  I don't get an NDR on all recipents, just maybe 1 or 2 out of a group.

Thanks

Inter-server traffic uses SMTP, so you have to look at the SMTP path. Ensure that there is no smart host on the SMTP virtual server and that AV software is not blocking or scanning port 25 traffic. It could be seeing the multiple senders and blocking them.
