I am thinking of upgrading to exchange 2007 and when i heard that Microsoft were planning to stop public folders in Exchange 2007 i thought this was because they had found a solution to the inabiltiy to sync a public calendar with a mobile device.
I now see that they haven't stopped Public Folders and it appears they haven't solved the sync issue either.
My customer has a public calendar that they want to be sync'ed with their windows mobile device over the air as well as their own personal calendar (don't ask why they can't just invite the relevent people to the appointment), does anyone know if this can be achieved in exchange 2007.
I have found some software, add2exchange, which seems to acheive the result i'm looking for and i wondered if anyone had any experience of this?

I don't know where you made the connection between public folders and Windows Mobile support. The public folder support is still there, it is de-emphasised and until SP1 is released there is no GUI management of public folders. You were never going to get public folder sync to public folders. Add2Exchange has worked well in the two or three places that I have used it.
