Font Print-out

Is there a way in Photoshop (7.0) to print out all of the fonts in their actual font so that I can see what each font looks like and its name?  If photoshop does not have a feature that does that is there a site somewhere on the net that does?  Thanks

rpreiss,

You have several options available to you. You can't easily do this in Photoshop, but you can in Word. Here's Microsoft's take on how to do it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q209205/. This article also shows a way, and explains it a bit better than MS: http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-6346_11-5034597.html

I used to do this, but with thousands of font files on my computers these days (ogling fonts is a bad habit of mine), that ran to a lot of pages. Now I used a font manager program to do it. There are a number available, across some different price ranges, but this article does a good job of covering many of them: http://www.digital-web.com/articles/better_font_management/. One of my personal favorites, at the low low price of free, is AMP Font Viewer: http://www.ampsoft.net/utilities/FontViewer.php

Cheers,
