If you look in your Add/Remove Programs I would suspect you will see more than one Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine listed. &nbsp;:-)<br />

My MWSUS installation is writing loads of bad events to the event log, having read up I think that the best way to remedy this is to uninstall / re-install, however when I go to uninstall it, it also wants to remove MSDE database engine, however I have another app (Sophos) on the server that uses MSDE and I dont want to render it useless and have to re-install that also, any ideas
