Access a shared Windows XP folder from a MAC

I have a MAC and a PC on a network in a home. The PC is running Windows XP, and there is a folder that is shared on it that contains photographs.

How can the MAC access this folder and view all the photographs?

On the Win XP Pc .. get the IP address of the computer ..
Then go to the Mac
In the Finder use the menu Go then Connect To Server

Enter smb://username@IPaddress where username is a vaild user on the Win XP PC and the IP address you noted earlier.
I will prompt for a the password for that user and then should open a window with the Share visible.
