Can someone please shed some light on this error message i receive. It is generated from foreign code (written in VB.NET) so can not give any help on what triggers this message, does it look familiar? Any suggestions at to the possible resolutions/causes would be much appreciated:

Hmm.Maybe this means that COM class this foreign code uses is not installed in your mashine. (COM class with CLSID {984AF203-1620-11D4-AD01-00C0DFE60BB5}) - this can be cause. You should know what COM libraries it uses and use regsvr32 to register - this can be solution.

If your code works somewhere in another mashine try get registry settings from that mashine HKYE_CLASSES_ROOT\\Clsid\\{984AF203-1620-11D4-AD01-00C0DFE60BB5} and you can know where actual dll of COM object is located. After that try to copy this dll to your mashine and register. This solution will work only if that dll has no additional dependencies to anothers (for example you can't just copy COM libs of Office - you have to install it)
