HTML on page bookmark navigation

Hi,

I know how to make bookmarks in HTML document - <a href='..' name='id_x">text</a>. If I add <body onload="location.href='#id_x'"> then the browser will go to the link with name id_x after the hole webpage is loaded. Everything is OK.

The problem is that the named link appears on the top of the browser window.

Is it possible to force the browser (IE Firefox) to show the names link veticaly centered in the browser window?

Thak you.

Those are actually called "Name Anchors" and not "bookmarks".

If you're referring to the browser window "handlebar" at the very top above the browser toolsbars then, no, you cannot center that.  The reason it's showing up there in the first place is that you aren't defining the <title> tag.

<html>
   <head>
      <title>Name of your page</title>
   </head>
   <body>
