Acer Desktop PCs rebooting

We have two Acer desktop PCs that are rebooting apparently at random. To start with one was rebooting several times a day and the other several times a week. I uninstalled the Acer Empowering Technology software and edited the registry to stop it running. It seemed to do the trick for a little while. They now reboot, but less frequently, it can be from once a day to once every ten days. Below is the debuglog from one of the PC's mini dump. The other PC has a similar one.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)
Invalid system memory was referenced.  This cannot be protected by try-except,
it must be protected by a Probe.  Typically the address is just plain bad or it
is pointing at freed memory.
Arguments:
Arg1: e3059000, memory referenced.
Arg2: 00000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation.
Arg3: 80539313, If non-zero, the instruction address which referenced the bad memory
      address.
Arg4: 00000001, (reserved)

It looks like RAM problem. If You have more than one RAM module than You may try then so only one is mounted.
If You have only one module check its parameters with the one that are set on Your computer.
If You see that it's overclocked try to lower the settings at BIOS.

I thought that was what the minidump was saying, so I tried using a Microsoft memory diagnositic disk. I left it running overnight, but it did not produce any errors. Is there anything else I can try, other than putting some different RAM in?

Check modules parameters (frequency and RAS, CAS Delay etc.), eg. with Everest diagnostic program:
http://dobreprogramy.pl/index.php?dz=22&id=1183&t=93

Compare it with the information from BIOS about how RAM is set.
There could be also a bad driver problem - it's hard to analyze, but if there is no other option You may try it. Try to uninstall most resently installed driver and see if it helps. If not, install it (or newer) again i and uninstall next driver... and so on.
The procedure should be done with chipset drivers, every not standard driver (acer specific), then graphic, sound - one by one.

What Is Threat Intelligence?

Threat intelligence is often discussed, but rarely understood. Starting with a precise definition, along with clear business goals, is essential.

I have the problem on SIX customer computers I sold running XP!!!!!

This is a BIG problem for ACER.  Two issues, one the computer was working just fine, and two, no changes were made.  The trigger point for all six was between Jan14 and Jan16 2009.

A roll back was done and problem not fixed.

I escalated the problem with ACER and guess what, 1.5 hours on hold and waiting!!

So far the only fix was to completely reload the OS!!!

ACER WE NEED HELP.

has this issue been resolved? How? What is going on with ACER products? I know of one issue where the PC reboots over and over and you cannot login except in safemode. ACER software and maybe an AVG confilct.
