Want to import 2003 contact history into 2007 outlook

Just bought 2007 office and I want to import all my contact information, and all the history of sent emails and such.  I am not sure how to get the info from the one computer and then transfer it to the other.

The best way to do it is save your contacts and e-mails into the PST file and then you can opem this PST in your second computer and get access to the data.
Tell me if you need more details.

In 2003 do I save as a personal file?  What steps do I do to import?

Try the next steps:
To export your data:
File->Import and Export->Export to file->Personal Folder File->Choose the whole mailbox and check the "Include subfolders" checkbox. Choose the plase to save and finished the operation.
To Import:
You can Import the data directly to your 2007 folder via Import and Export option or you can open the PST as additional mailbox via File->Open->Outlook Data File.
Import:
File->Import and Export->Import fromanother program or file->Personal Folder File->select the source  PST file and then select the source folder and destination folder.
