Can you suggest a good Mobile Device Simulator?

Hi,  I develop in AASP.NET 2.0.  I want to learn about developing for mobile technology.  Could you recommend a good mobile simulator?  One that is free and easy to set up.

Visual Studio .NET 2005 will have the simulator.
