Stored procedure Create Common functions

Currently I am using SQLServer 2005 and Stored Procedures. Can you please list down Commom UserDefined functions that can be used in my Stored Procedures......... currently I have Storedproc's returning Data, Insert and Update Operations.

I am not 100% sure what you are asking for?
I mean, "common userdefined functions" ... are you trying to find out what functions are commonly created/used in databases, for general usage?

hmmm -  Maybe try searching EE for 'user defined function' in the database zone to give you some kind of idea of how and why you might want to use a function.  Mainly though you use them for bits of Business Logic that you think you will want to reuse in several different stored procedures in an application - so they tend to be (a) personal (I might have a few favourite ways to handle dates or suchlike) and/or (b) application specific - so there probably ain't no such thing as 'common' user defined functions ...
