Need a replacement for CamStudio for screen capture

I have a problem with CamStudio and need a replacement.

I need to be able to "film" my desktop and record my voice as I go through a demo of my program.

What free programs do this?  I need one that's reliable.  Does Windows 2003 or Vista have one already?

Thanks,

The only other solution if you don't want to actually see the mouse moving and software opening is to use the print screen on your keyboard to capture a number of screen shots. Then paste them into a video editor and add the voice over.

I WANT to see the mouse moving. In fact, CamStudio has a nice feature for demonstration, where the cursor can be surrounded by a large yellow area.

The problem is CamStudio does not seem to work on my machine.  I click "Record", then start my presentation.  When I go to complete save it, the only icon associated with CamStudio is called "Flashing".  I can not find how to complete the presentation.

Do you know what I am doing wrong?

But as far as features go, I want something that can record my every mouse action and desktop for replay, with audio.  Can't another program do that?

thanks,
