Hi All,

Is it possible to create a policy in Domino R7 which makes the Workspace to launch as the default Home Page in Notes client?

I've seen topics in IBM KB, "http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&q=7003219&uid=swg27003219" but this only applies to newly installed Notes client..

But how about for those users that are already been using notes? If i create a new desktop policy and enforce the workspace as the default welcome page, would the icons on the users workspace be also replaced? Is it possible to retain the users current workspace icons?

Please advice,
Thansk

Yes, there is a policy, but we found it a little too unpredictable to use for production.  Also, the workspace cannot be managed at all without 3rd party plug ins.

We are currently using a product called Client Genie to manage our R6 & R7 clients (homepage, workspace tabs, icons, etc).  It works well, but we have not tested it under R8 yet.
