Hi,

I am writing a project that needs to interact with excel sheet which I need:

1. Open a blank excel sheet.
2 .Write data to open excel sheet from datatable.
3. Save back to datatable.

My question is:

1. How could I interact with the excel?
2. How could I know that the user just exit the sheet and then I should save back to datatable again.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,
Best way to achieve this is using the OWC [Office Web Component] from microsoft
Using this you can programatically
Format the sheet
Apply any rules/ calculations
Insert charts
Pivot tables and lot more.

You can define the Excel Template / XML Template as a template for your final excel also.
