SAP Enterprise Portal 7.1 Access across LDAP Domains

We have an Entreprise Portal 7.1 server being configured for one of our ECC 6.0 setup wherein the users will be able to access Payroll and Attendance data through the EP server.

The scope of work involves this aceess being given to 3 to 4 LDAP domains since the ECC 6.0 server would have the payroll data of the multiple domains.

The multiple domains belong to one group but are segragated due to the core business of Design Outsourcing of different clients who don't prefer their data being processed on same domain as other.

I need to know how I can keep the domains segregated and yet allow for same EP server to be used by all the different users from diffrenet domains.

Going ahead, I also want to know If I can plan for a consolidated EP server for different SAP instances in different Domains. We have done the same for Solution Manager 4.0 where we have consolidated it on a single server and it services various instances of SAP of versions 4.7, 5.0 and 6.0.

As long as you dont use CUA or SSO, and you're not transporting across domains, you shouldn't really need to do anything. SAP will continue to work. You do not need to identify yourself to the server when you access the application, as long as the gateways, SQLnet etc. are all running on your systems.
And if you DO get in to trouble, then simple create the users required on the other domains, with the same password as in the original domain. The only problem will then be syncronising the passwords.

SAP Portal supports User Authentication Integration with more than one LDAP server. You just need to configure Portal UME to use all domain LDAP Servers.
Not sure what you mean with "If I can plan for a consolidated EP server for different SAP instances in different Domains"?
