Can you still configure a dial-up networking connection by double-clicking one of those DUN INI-style files in XP?

I suppose it'd have to be done from an admin account. I need to get a newb to do it remotely

You could use PsExec to do this - so your run the file as an admin, under a limited account.

Is switch.inf what you are referring to?

Actually they probably have a default config which makes them an admin anyway (!?) So that last consideration of mine could be academic.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

I am not sure that you can do this on XP - this seems to be more of a '98 solution...
You can use group policy to configure all this sort of stuff in XP.
