System State backup fails on Windows server 2003 SP2

Hi,

Syatem is Windows Server 2003 Ent SP2

Problem is as follows:

System state backup fails with th efollowing details:

Backup Status
Operation: Backup
Active backup destination: File
Media name: "System State Backup.bkf created 11/25/2007 at 12:00 AM"

Volume shadow copy creation: Attempt 1.
"MSDEWriter" has reported an error 0x800423f4. This is part of System State. The backup cannot continue.

Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:800423f4
Aborting Backup.

----------------------

The operation did not successfully complete.

Hi,

Other servers have exactly the same setup but the backup program is running without any problem!

We contacted MS and had to update some missing dll files
