Using Framework 2.0, Windows Forms application.
Need to open a web shortcut in whatever web browser the user has set as their default one in windows.
And same requirement for an email link, and default email client application.
Anyone have any idea on how I could do this, like .Net classes/interfaces that would allow me access to default browser and email, or maybe register settings that would at least tell me what apps i am dealing with?

You should use the Process Component. see http://www.emoreau.com/Entries/Articles/2003/12/The-Process-component.aspx

for the web page, pass the URL in the file to open.
for the e-mail, pass "mailto:xyz@company.com"
