I am trying to install snmp on a Red Hat ES 2.1 server (NET-SNMP, I assume) and I am totally striking out. On other distros I used yum, apt-get or just downloaded the binary but that does not appear to be an option here. Does anyone have information on getting snmp to work with ES 2.1. I am trying to do this to get this server to work with Zenoss so if anyone has an alternative to snmp I am certainly open.
