Would someone please take a look at this log and let me know what you think? User is complaining that computer is running slow (and yes, we know that antivirus software was scanning at the time of this log being created :) ). I am especially curious about hyattedeals.exe.

Or delete the program folder....

Should get rid of this one as well.. Not malicious, but if the file is truly not there, you dont need a Winlogon entry for it..
O20 - Winlogon Notify: ACNotify - ACNotify.dll (file missing)

Additionally, I would uncheck all of the Thinkpad items in MSConfig, and let Windows do the work for yoou. Usually dont need all the extra power management features from IBM, when XP does it already....

And check your System logs for DISK, ATAPI, or NTFS errors....

And when it is slow, do you see any CPU spiking?

I was getting reports (via LogMeIn IT reach) of CPU exceeding 60% for greater than 10 minutes about once an hour.

I should add that the CPU spiking was recorded about a week before this happened though, and was only one day, so I suppose the answer to your question is no.
