I have Exchange Server 2003 and the Exchange VSS Writer is creating shadow copies at 2:00am.

How can I change when this is scheduled?

Thanks,

Tim

1.-Right Click on the drive where Exchange is installed then click on properties.
2.-Click on "Shadow copies" Tab
3.-Then Click on settings
4.-Click on schedule

Thanks for the input.

There is not a scheduled task.....

Re the Shadow Copies tab on the Exchange disk, this shows jobs scheduled at noon and 7am so seems to not be related to the 2am Exchange VSS Writer schedule.......

I figured it out.

Backup Exec had an incremental backup of the Exchange servers scheduled for 2am that included the shadow copy components.

So the schedule is controlled in Backup Exec.
