Hi all,

I am using a simple script to output some html which is pretty straightforward as shown below.

(This works)

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">

<head>

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />

<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">

<title>mag</title>

<script type=text/javascript language=javascript>

function window_onload() {

var txt="";

txt=txt+"<html><body leftmargin='0' topmargin='0' marginwidth='0' marginheight='0' bgcolor='#999999'>";

txt=txt+"<object id=mag codebase='http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0' height='100%' width='100%' align=left classid='clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000'>";

txt=txt+"<param name='movie' value='test.swf' />";

txt=txt+"<param name='quality' value='high' />";

txt=txt+"<param name='scale' value='noscale' />";

txt=txt+"<param name='bgcolor' value='#999999' />";

txt=txt+"<embed src='test.swf' quality='high' scale='noscale' bgcolor='#999999' width='100%' height='100%' name='mag' align='top' allowScriptAccess='sameDomain' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' pluginspage='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer' />";

txt=txt+"</object>";

txt=txt+"</body></html>";

document.write(txt);

}

</script>

</head>

<body leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" bgcolor="#999999" LANGUAGE=javascript onresize="return window_onresize()" onload="return window_onload()">

</body>

</html>

But I need to add a refrence to javascript in the output but if I add this one line it brings up an error.

txt=txt+"<script type=text/javascript language=javascript src='popwin.js'></script>";

(The full function that returns the error. Im just outputing the text of the script reference. I have no double quotes in the string)

function window_onload() {

var txt="";

txt=txt+"<html><body leftmargin='0' topmargin='0' marginwidth='0' marginheight='0' bgcolor='#999999'>";

txt=txt+"<script type='text/javascript' language='javascript' src='popwin.js'></script>";

txt=txt+"<object id=mag codebase='http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0' height='100%' width='100%' align=left classid='clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000'>";

txt=txt+"<param name='movie' value='mag.swf' />";

txt=txt+"<param name='quality' value='high' />";

txt=txt+"<param name='scale' value='noscale' />";

txt=txt+"<param name='bgcolor' value='#999999' />";

txt=txt+"<embed src='test.swf' quality='high' scale='noscale' bgcolor='#999999' width='100%' height='100%' name='mag' align='top' allowScriptAccess='sameDomain' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' pluginspage='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer' />";

txt=txt+"</object>";

txt=txt+"</body></html>";

document.write(txt);

}

binovpd,

You have to split script tags and escape the closing slash when "writing" that line.

txt=txt+"<scr" + "ipt type=text/javascript language=javascript src='popwin.js'><\/scr" + "ipt>";

Let me know if you have any questions or need more information.
