What are some of the dalily tasks I should be doing for SQL 2000?

these are the most common tasks:

do a daily statistics update, and index rebuild (most table)
for the largest tables, index rebuild every week
backup all databases every day

check for failed jobs
check for long running jobs
look for disk space issues especially large disk growth
